Traylor Bros. of Evansville Chooses Data Cave as Data Center Provider

Columbus, Ind. November 13, 2013

Traylor Bros.Traylor Bros. Inc., a national leader in bridge, underground, and marine construction projects, has selected Data Cave, a full service, fully redundant data center in Columbus, Indiana as its colocation provider. Based in Evansville, Indiana, the aim for Traylor Bros. was to seek out a data center that was far enough away to be safe in the event of a disaster striking their primary location, and at the same time still within a reasonable driving distance from Evansville.

“From the beginning, the two most important factors that we looked for in a data center were its location, as well as its cost,” says Chad Lamb, Network Administrator at Traylor Bros. “We looked into a few data centers in Louisville and Indianapolis, but Data Cave was by far the best choice, in terms of its location, cost, and above all, its level of customer service. These factors made Data Cave the best overall value for our company.”

Customer service is not typically a trait of most data center providers, but it is definitely a quality that Data Cave has delivered on. “From day one, the people at Data Cave have been absolutely great to work with,” says Lamb. “In addition to their technical knowledge,  they have been the most open and honest data center I have worked with, and they haven’t hesitated to provide after hours support to us anytime we may need it. They really do go above and beyond what I would have expected from a data center provider. And to make it even better, since colocating with Data Cave we have had no connectivity issues or downtime whatsoever with our equipment, which is simply unheard of in most other data centers.”

Zack Ellison, President at Data Cave, comments on the new partnership, “Having Traylor Bros., Inc., a leader in the heavy construction business, locate their critical IT equipment and place their trust in Data Cave is a significant statement about the security and quality customer support we provide. Traylor Bros., Inc. is a very important customer and we are proud to have them join Data Cave.”
