Testing the Generator

Earlier this afternoon, a few technicians were onsite to power up the generator.  Although this isn’t the first time the generator has been powered on (it was tested at the factory), it is the first time it’s been fired up onsite, with all the batteries and other bells and whistles installed.

Power Installation

Friday was a busy day at Data Cave. In addition to the generator installation, the power company was onsite to install 2 2500kVA transformers and string cable onto existing power poles.
